What you type into a calculator never reaches us

Every calculator on this site computes entirely inside your browser. The arithmetic is shipped to your device as part of the page and runs there. There is no server that receives your sale price, your loan balance, your cost basis or any other figure you enter, because there is no server in the loop at all.

This is a consequence of how the site is built rather than a promise we ask you to take on trust. The site is a set of static files; the formulas are published at how we calculate, and you can read the code your browser runs.

Nothing you enter into a calculator is stored

Using a calculator requires no account and no login, and nothing you type is saved. Close the tab and the figures are gone. Reload the page and it returns to its defaults.

The one exception is under your control: some calculators put your figures in the page address so you can copy the link and send it to someone. That happens in your browser, the values travel only inside the link you choose to share, and we never receive it. If you share such a link, treat it as you would any message containing your numbers.

What we collect from everyone

Anonymous, cookieless page views, so we can tell which pages people find useful. This records the page visited, an approximate country or region derived from the network connection, the referring site, and general device and browser type. It does not set cookies, does not follow you across other sites, and is not tied to a name or an email address.

We also record a single event when someone edits a figure in a calculator, so we know whether a Tool is being used rather than merely loaded. That event records which calculator it was. It does not record the values entered.

RemodelAI: the account

RemodelAI is a separate, paid product and it works differently from the calculators. It requires an account, because the credits have to belong to someone. This section and the two after it describe it; the RemodelAI privacy page goes into more detail.

Creating an account stores your email address. If you sign in with Google we also receive the name and profile picture on that Google account, and show the picture back to you in the page header; if you sign in with a code sent to your email, we store only the address. We keep a record of the credits you have bought and spent, and of each render: the kind of space, the style, the model used, whether it succeeded, and when.

RemodelAI: your photographs

A photograph is sent only when you choose to generate. It goes to our design service and, from there, to a third-party AI image model, which returns the redesigned version. That transfer is the product working as described; there is no way to redesign a photograph without sending it somewhere.

We do not store the photograph or the result. Both are held in memory for the one request, which is why the result has to be downloaded from the page while it is open. We do not use your photographs to train anything, we do not publish them, and we do not show them to anyone else. We do not control what the model provider does with what it receives, so do not send anything you would not send to one.

RemodelAI: payment

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and are never sent to us. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, the pack purchased, the amount, and an identifier for the transaction.

Who processes it

Analytics are processed by Ahrefs Web Analytics and PostHog on our behalf. The site is served by Cloudflare, which necessarily handles the network request that delivers each page. Fonts are served from this site rather than a font provider, specifically so that loading a page does not disclose your visit to a third party.

For RemodelAI only: accounts, credits and render records are held by Supabase; sign-in with Google is handled by Google; photographs are processed by a third-party AI image model, reached through OpenRouter; payments are processed by Stripe; and the sign-in emails are delivered by Resend.

That is the complete list. We do not run advertising, and we do not sell or share data with anyone.

Calculators embedded on other sites

Our calculators can be embedded on other websites. An embedded calculator behaves exactly as it does here: it computes in your browser and transmits nothing you type. It records the same anonymous page view so we can tell whether the embed programme is used at all, and it runs no product analytics and sets no cookies on the host site.

The site hosting the embed has its own privacy practices, which are its own responsibility and not covered by this policy.

Your choices

If you have only used the calculators, we hold no personal data tied to you: there is nothing for us to look up, export or delete, and we could not identify your visits if we tried. Blocking analytics in your browser, or using a content blocker, does not affect any calculator on this site.

If you have a RemodelAI account, there are no photographs of yours for us to delete, because none are kept. To close the account and delete the records attached to it, email privacy@propertysavvy.org from the address you signed in with. Unspent credits are lost when an account is closed.

Stripe keeps its own record of any payment you made, as the company that processed it. That is outside our control and is not deleted by closing your account.

Children

This site is intended for adults transacting residential real estate and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the review date below moves. A policy that describes an older version of the site would be worse than none.
